Here you can rest in the garden on a sun bed, take a bath in the river, go on a journey of discovery in the library, paint a picture, make a wooden spoon and have a chat both with your fellow hikers or the hosts about,- the big things in life. Single room: NOK 1100,- per person/night
Double room: NOK 1675,- pr person/night
4-bed room: NOK 680,- per person./night
Bed linen and towels are included included in the price.

Big towel for bath in the river: NOK 50,-
Bike with a helmet: NOK 200,-
Washing clothes and using shoe-dryer is free.

Camping in the garden with own tent: NOK 300,-

Legend says it was here, - at "The Ols-field"- , that Olav Haraldson and his men had their last break before the battle at Stiklestad. Therefore vi wish that all pilgrims should have the opportunity to rest very well at Auskin.
 

Thats also why we have comfortable beds with sun-dried linen and memoryfoam-mattresses for weary pilgrims, and large bathrooms with ecological shampoo, balsam and shower-gel to take care of both you and the nature. And a library where you may bring a book up to our lounge at second floor, for just to sink into a soft sofa, enjoy your book, the view and a glas of wine. As hosts we love to meet new people, to have a chat about "everything", and to show you around in the woodcarving workshop.

We have a large and well-equipped kitchen, where you can make your own meals or get local food served. In the kitchen cabinets you will find spices and oils, as well as various typs of the and coffee. We have various norwegian breakfast- food. That includes types of youghurt, drinks and fresh vegetables, and the typical norwegian "cod liver oil" full of vitamines. You can find various nuts and seeds to use at your breakfast or as extra energy in your lunch-paket. If you need an extra boost of nutrients we can make you fresh ginger-shot or vegetable-smoothie. 

If you fancy something special on your way to Auskin, please let us know, and you will find it in your room when you arrive. Only the fantasy will set limits.....

Our garden is sheltered and private and has sun beds, tables and benches, where you can enjoy the view, the silence, the sunrise or a cup of morning coffee.

There is an advantage to book in advance and you can pay in cash on arrival, or receive an invoice by e-mail before departure.

If you are not staying overnight at Auskin, but collect stamps, you are most welcome to drop by to get our hand-drawn stamp.

Pilgrims are hiking in various ways, some bikes...
.. some are riding horses, but most of them are wearing good shoes.
To relax with a good chat or enjoy the view in the garden.
To sit around the kitchen table and share both laughter and tears with people from all over the world, - it is the best thing by beeing a pilgrim host.
Beds with memoryfoam-mattresses, duvets, pillows and sun-dried bed linen and plenty of space for luggage under the bed.
In our lounge on second floor you may sink into the sofa, enjoy your book and the view, with a glas of wine.
