Hiking

Its a beautiful pilgrim's path from Ålesund city center to key place Borgund. Walk up the city stairs and over Aksla. The walk is well marked with a pilgrim symbol. It takes about 2 hours.

From the key location Borgund you can take a bus to the accommodation Borg. Use the FRAM route planner, insert bus stop and departure Sunnmøre museum, arrival point Borg sommerhotell.

BORG Summer hostel offers several solutions for accommodation. The most popular are double rooms and single rooms. They have arranged for camping with parking space for campers and caravans with access to electricity. There are several nice tent sites in the outdoor area. For larger groups we can offer tailor-made agreements.

The rooms have a simple standard. They are furnished with single beds, desk and sofa. Private bathroom with shower and toilet. Included in the camping options we have access to toilet, shower and water. Free Wi-Fi throughout the building. Shared TV room, laundry room and kitchen with some equipment. Large, free parking lot on the site.
