Kvassheim Coastal Heritage Lighthouse
Would you like to experience a piece of Norwegian coastal history and enjoy the beautiful nature of Jæren? Then you should visit Friluftshuset Kvassheim. The southernmost lighthouse on Jæren offers exciting exhibitions, a café, and great hiking opportunities. The outdoor lighthouse is operated by Jæren Friluftsråd. It is one of three visitor centers for Wetlands Jæren and an important area for birdlife. The lighthouse is also a stop on the National Tourist Route Jæren, one of the 18 national tourist routes in Norway.

Accomodation
In the assistant house, there is accommodation for up to 8 people. When renting the house, you have the entire property to yourself. The outbuilding is part of the accommodation offer and serves as an additional room that can be rented if 12 bed spaces are needed.

Kvassheim Lighthouse is located on the coast in the southern part of Hå municipality, between Vigrestad and Brusand. Follow Highway 44 from Sandnes (approx. 45 km) or Egersund (approx. 25 km). The National Tourist Route Jæren has signposted the lighthouse with a point-of-interest symbol. Parking for the disabled is available inside the lighthouse courtyard.
