In Guslundåsen, there are at least five graves from the Early Bronze Age period. They are probably around 3500 years old. Burial places like this was usually placed in higher parts of the landscape, in close proximity to the settlement. This would give the departed clear views and control over the area, even after death. The Bronze Age cairns in Guslundåsen are not as big as they once were, but are still visible between the modern houses.
