In 1891, about 20 years later the building was expanded and made into a chapel. Hafslund Church is located in the middle of a historically and prehistorically significant landscape. Not far from the church, you’ll find Hafslund manor, monumental rock art sites from the Bronze Age and burial sites from the Iron Age.
