Haltdalen Stave Church
Situated along Gudbrandsdalsleden
Haltdalen stave church is over 800 years old and is one of 28 preserved stave churches in Norway.
The stave church at Sverresborg originally stood in Haltdalen, where it functioned as a parish church. It was probably built in the 1170s. The church was moved to Trondheim in the 1880s, and rebuilt at Kalvskinnet. The church was later moved to Sverresborg in 1937.
