One of the two main churches (together with Norderhov) located in the rich, old cultural landscape of Ringerike. This church was used as an election venue in the process of establishing the Norwegian constitution of 1814.
The present day church has two parts: the Medieval church in the west (used as a chapel), and the modern church rebuild after a fire in 1943 in the east.
Hole Church has no fixed opening hours during the summer, but can be opened on request. Outside there is drinking water, benches and a pilgrim stamp. Read more about the church here: https://www.kirken.no/nb-NO/fe...
