Rest stop
Klokkarstolen
Situated along Kystpilegrimsleia - The Pilegrimage Coastal Route
An old "resting stone" which was named "Klokkerstolen" (the bell ringer's chair).
"There was only one bell ringer in the parish at the time, so bell ringer Knud Skei served both in Rein Church in Rissa and the church in Stadsbygda. Knud took the shortcut over the hill between the two villages when he was going to Rein. Hence the "bell ringer's path" and the "bell ringer's chair". Knud rested on this very stable "chair", and later also his son Ole Knudsen Bell Ringer, when they had traversed the first leg of the long road to and from the Rein Church."
