Kongshaugen in Seim

Kongshaugen (also known as Håkonshaugen) is a historic burial mound associated with Haakon the Good, who reigned from 933 to 960. According to the sagas, he is buried at Seim. This key location is located not far from the other key location in Alver Municipality: Kongsgarden at Lygra / the Heathland Centre (Lyngheisenteret). There is a pilgrim stamp in the mailbox just inside the gate at Kongshaugen.
