Leirvik gjestehavn

Leirvik Guest Harbor is a well-sheltered haven, with a new guest quay in 2022. It has a depth for sailboats and possibly larger boats.

There are guest places at 2 floating jetties or next to the quay. Payment options include the GoMarina app or at Hotel Sognefjord.

The guestharbour is located next to Hotel Sognefjord and a smaller shopping center with grocery store, hairdresser, flowers, office for companies etc.

Diesel and petrol filling for large and small boats is approx. 500 meters from the jetty.

Great bathing beach with new service building/toilet/shower approx. 800 meters from the harbour (new footpath).

Frisbee golf course (free) at Haukås, about 1 km up towards Handal from the boat harbour.

Hiking trails to mountain peaks, barbecue hut, viewpoint etc.

You can rent bicycles, electric bicycles or water scooters at the hotel.

About 8 km from Leirvik is Hyllestad Kvernsteinspark (Hyllestad Millstone Park), where you can take a guided tour or walk around and see the remains of large-scale millstone production dating back to the Viking age. The Millstones were exported/shipped around Norway and to Europe
