Ljabru
Situated along Borgleden
In Oslo there are only two bridges from the great road building at the end of the 18th century that remains. Ljabru in one of them. The other one, Kalbakkbrua, leads the old road to Trondheim over Alna in north-east Oslo.
These bridges are important historic milestones from when the road infrastructure in Norway was improved at the end of the 18th century, and they represent the most important roads out of Oslo, one leading to Trondheim and the other to Copenhagen.
