The farm Majors-Alm
Situated along Gudbrandsdalsleden
The farm Øvre Alm, called Majors-Alm, is one of the larger farms in Tingelstadhøgda.
In 1744 the major Andreas Jacob Riis bought the farm Øvre Alm. Later his son major Michael Riis inherited the farm. The farm Majors-Alm is named after these two majors. The farm buildings are beautifully located on the hill, and surrounded by large open fields with grazing animals. The hosts have placed benches on the right side of the road, here pilgrims are welcome to take a rest.
