Munkeby Farm is located between the ruins of Munkeby Abbey from the 12th century and the new Munkeby Abbey from 2009. The farm is surrounded by a fascinating cultural landscape shaped by thousands of years of farming. Here, you can find traces from the Bronze Age and Viking age everywhere.

The pilgrim hostel at Munkeby is hosted by Andrea Isaksen and Espen Ingdal. They offer pilgrims accommodation in a traditional storehouse that has been refurnished, and food in the courtyard café. The farm also have a small shop where they offer local food and art craft.
