Veiholmen is very suitable for silence and reflection; sitting on the nice, clean-cut rocks or wandering in narrow alleys among the white-painted houses.

If you want a bit more activity, you can take part in a guided tour around the fishingvillage interspersed with good storytelling, visit the local Coastal Culture Center Brenneriet, paddle among islets and reefs or take part in a sea eagle safari.

Our guesthouses bear the name of those who once lived in these houses and we have deliberately kept the houses as they once were; with charming bedrooms, shared bathrooms, shared kitchens and living rooms and sheltered patios. Dogs are welcome in MoloNaustet and in Notloftet.

Here at Veiholmen there is a lot of fun!

Magical paddling at Veiholmen on Smøla.
Smøla is a paddling eldorado
