Sæteren Farm is an unattended cabin owned and operated by the Norwegian Trekking Association (DNT). The farm is situated in the beautiful Bærumsmarka, a 2 km walk from Øverland farm and Haug School. Sæteren is a lovely destination both in summer and winter.
This accommodation offers five cabins with room for four people. Accommodation must be booked in advance, and you need to bring your own food.
The cabins does not have water or electricity installed, but they are equipped with all that trekkers need for cooking and sleeping: Firewood, gas, kitchen utensils, duvets and pillows (bed linen is required). You'll find water at the main yard: Use the tap at the disabled toilet at Sovehuset.
Opening hours café: Wednesday 11-14, Saturday and Sunday 11-16 (NB! There are exceptions during school holidays - see their website for updated information).
We do not provide food or supplies so our guests have to bring whatever they may need along with them.
