Selbu Church
Situated along Romboleden
Selbu Church is one of Trøndelag's largest long-churches, originally from 1150. It is known for its excellent acoustics.
The church has been rebuilt several times and that is perhaps the reason why it is not the most famous medieval church in Trøndelag. The old stone building's acoustics is widely known, many famous Norwegian artists have made use of it in conjunction with concerts and recordings. Selbu church is worth a visit if you are seeking worship, art or just a quiet time for reflection. The church is open during the summer season.
