Son spa

The hotel is located right on the water's edge and only a five-minute walk from the center of Son.

Son is a well-protected port and has served fishermen, monks, sailors, and merchant travellers for hundreds of years. Objects from the Viking Age and the Middle Ages have been found, but it is the Dutch Period that is the dominant visible heritage today.

The center of Son is incredibly well preserved, and the rush of history is well felt in the narrow alleys and along the pier where the sailing ships loaded timber. After the sailing ship era, Son entered an era for boat building and was the second largest producer in the Oslo Fjord.
