Stjørdal Railway Station

Stjørdal Station is located on the Nordland Line in Stjørdalshalsen, Trøndelag. The station is located 34.67 kilometers from Trondheim Central Station and is served by SJ Norway, which offers long-distance trains between Trondheim and Bodø as well as local trains on the Trønder Line between Steinkjer and Støren. The station building is designed in Swiss style and the building has been an important cultural monument in the area, but has unfortunately been exposed to fires. It has been decided that the old building will not be rebuilt, but that the station will have a more modern feel and continue to be in operation as an important hub.
