Northwest of Frøya, with the Atlantic Ocean as its closest neighbor, lies the fishing village of Sula. Today, the idyllic place has around 50 permanent residents, a shop, its own post office, a few cars, and ferry calls. Sula is one of the major fishing villages in Central Norway, with very dense housing on the west side of Sulsvågen. The village has a rich history that stretches back several hundred years.
