Museum of Comic Art Norway was created by Norwegian Cartoon Forum. The collection was first started by Cartoon Academy in Oslo in 1970.

The museum consists of three parts: the National Cartoon Archive where all Norwegian comic releases are gathered, a cartoon gallery with over 100 different artist's originals and alternating exhibitions and a section where there are activities and competitions over 450 m2.
