Grønn = Enkel

Blå = Middels

Rød = Krevende

Svart = Ekstra krevende

Situated along Romboleden and St. Olavsleden

Practical help – social fellowship

The organized hike is an offer of help with accommodation, meals and luggage transport along the way. Through these hikes, you also get to participate in groups where the pilgrims create an environment along the way, which is often lacking along our routes where there are fewer pilgrims than in more southern areas. Embarking on a long-distance hike together is a special challenge and an experience for both new and experienced hikers. The offer is intended to help those interested in experiencing the simple joys of pilgrimage life. You must adapt to the group community and assist each other, together with a hiking guide and some volunteer helpers. For more practical advice, see pilegrimsleden.no.

Personal responsibility

Before you sign up, we assume that you are able to complete a hike of around 20 km a day over several days. You are responsible for your own travel and accommodation until Kirkvollen on 18.07 and from the end of the hike. Furthermore, it is assumed that you have taken out your own relevant insurance; travel insurance and any other personal insurance you may need.

Is this a religious hike?

The pilgrim routs to Nidaros was established with a background in Christian pilgrimages and is therefore placed in a Christian cultural context. Today, people walk for many different reasons. You are welcome regardless of what you believe or do not believe in. You will be able to visit churches along the way and will be offered the opportunity to join a church service, but it is not mandatory to participate.
